Manhattan School of Music

Manhattan School of Music launched its groundbreaking Distance Learning program in 1996, the first of its kind at a major conservatory. Since then, using
state-of-the-art interactive videoconference technology to enhance MSM students' curriculum, we have also developed programs to connect students, educators and
distinguished artists around the globe. Additionally, our live webstreamed concerts and master classes, featuring MSM student ensembles and acclaimed faculty, now
attract a worldwide audience.
- Program: Singing Legends, Dancing Lions: An Exploration of Chinese Music Traditions An Exploration of Chinese Music Traditions program. It’s a very interactive program that will help teach your attendees some Chinese intonation and give a wonderful display of one of our most popular programs.

Center for Puppetry Arts

The Center for Puppetry Arts uses the latest technology to offer its award-winning Distance Learning programs for PreK-adult through videoconferencing, webinars, and recorded content.

During the connection
- Program: Exploring Antarctica
Students will build a Penguin Hand Puppet while learning about Antarctica. The discovery and exploration of the continent, plant and animal life (seals, penguins, whales, and more), and fascinating facts about ice and glaciers (frozen rivers, calving & ice shelves) will be discussed. Striking images of this unique continent are a highlight of this program.

LEARNnco Science

These forty-minute sessions were developed using established National Science Standards as a framework for fun interaction! They present science concepts using hands on group explorations between the LEARNnco educator and your classroom.
Each location will need the following materials:
- (2) Cups of Oatmeal (dry) in a Quart Size Plastic Bag
- Nylon Stocking
- Water
- Scissors
- Large Bowl
- (5) Small Paper or Plastic Cups
- Crackers or Cookies
- Paper Towels
